Grimes

Claire Elise Boucher is a Canadian music producer and singer. Her range of her first music was described as "lo lo R&B" and "futuristic dance-pop". She has also used elements of hip hop electronic music and rock. She often uses science fiction as well as feminist themes in her songs. The singer has recorded five albums. Grimes came from Vancouver then moved to Montreal. She started her solo career in the late 2000s. In 2010, she released two albums on Arbutus Records, Geidi Primes (and Halfaxa), respectively. After contracting with 4AD and gaining popularity with Visions, her third album of studio work. Visions comprises the singles "Genesis" as well as "Oblivion" and won the Canadian music industry Juno Award for Electronic Album of the Year. The album that she released as her fourth studio effort Art Angels was released in 2015. The album received high marks from the press and critics, while many newspapers voted for it as the most excellent album of the year. Miss Anthropocene was her fifth studio album. Grimes was also an actor and judge in Alter Ego's music contests, performed as singer in Cyberpunk 2077 which was released in the year 2020. Grimes Grimes Grimes
